It is safe to say that all girls have a few habits that, although common, are never talked about. Not even at girls’ nights! Panties are probably top of this list. You know the ones we find in the bottom of our drawers and only wear when it’s that “time”? Yeah, you heard me right; our period panties!

In a recent poll made by the makers of hygienic products U by Kotex for their Save the Undies campaign, it was noted that women in Quebec do not want to be refrained from doing things by their periods (totally normal!). In this context, 80% of the participants aged from 18 to 45 advocate the right to wearing the underwear they really want to, no matter what time of the month it is. However, 69% of the women who answered also admitted having specific underwear for their periods. Hmm.

Let’s do the test, shall we? What type of underwear resembles you the most?
A. Low rise panties
B. Boy shorts
C. Bikini
D. Thong

Now, what does your underwear look like during that “week”? Ah-ha! That’s what we thought.

Why does our TOM affect us so much? Did we let them take control over our daily lives? Or just the last drawer of our nightstand? We talked about the subject here. Take a look, we’ll bet you a box of tampons (!) that you will find it relatable.

Ladies, it’s time to put an end to this. We can’t beat our periods, so why not equip ourselves with better allies? Let’s save our beloved undies with the feminine hygiene products that really correspond to us. U by Kotex knows exactly what we need, and even offers you the chance to win the perfect survival kit to fight your next “crimson curse”.

All jokes aside, the kit contains:
A selection of feminine hygiene products by U by Kotex.
A $25 Jean-Coutu gift card.
A $25 La Senza gift card.
