Our favourite spots to get freaky during the summer
Is the hot weather giving you even hotter thoughts? Can you picture making love pretty much anywhere? Then go for it! We’ve prepared a list of outdoor locations from A to Z, plus some tips to help you out for each one. Some places may surprise you, but they’re definitely all worth trying!
1. Aqua park
Why? Because the sight of your man in a swimsuit is bound to put you in the mood—and the water is so refreshing!
Tip: The wave pool may not be the ideal spot, since it tends to be crowded and the water less-than-clean.
3. Convertible
Why? A convertible is perfect for letting loose at the drive-in.
Tip: Wait until after the movie starts so that everyone is focused on the screen—not on you. A blanket will also keep prying eyes away. It goes without saying, but we’ll say it anyway: DO NOT have sex while driving!
4. Downpour
Why? Because it’s thrilling to be out in the rain—and for once, not have to worry about getting wet. Plus, you and your partner are bound to be the only ones not trying to get out of the rain.
Tip: Watch out for mud!
5. Elm tree
Why? You’ll be able to do it in the shade while the sun is shining.
Tip: Go at it in a standing position, you leaning against the trunk. We suggest putting a blanket between your back and the tree to avoid scratching yourself with the bark.
Why? Because it’s so wild! And it’s not like the animals are watching…
7. Garden
Why? You should celebrate all the tasty vegetables you’ve grown; we bet your little love-making session will make you even hungrier for them.
Tip:To avoid crushing your plants, lie down on a blanket or towel in the empty rows that are a bit deeper; you’ll be perfectly comfortable!
8. Hammock
Why? It’ll relax you, and it’s perfect for those reluctant to do it in public; you’ll benefit from complete privacy, or almost!
Tip: To stabilize yourselves, try the “cowgirl” position: the man sitting sideways on the hammock with his feet on the ground.
9. Island
Why? Because you’ve always fantasized about being shipwrecked on an island, just like in the movie Blue Lagoon.
Tip: Be sure to tie up your means of transportation, or to bring it onto the shore, so as not to be stuck like a couple of real castaways
10. Jacuzzi
Why? Because of the oh-so-memorable sensations provided by the combination of bubbles and lovemaking. It’s also one of the more private outdoor locations.
Tip: Don’t start off the evening with alcohol, or the heat from the Jacuzzi will make you both dizzy—the bubbles in the water should be enough excitement for one night!
11. Kiosk (at a fair)
Why? The light, festive atmosphere of the fair will put you in the perfect mood for a quickie in back of a kiosk.
Tip: Make sure to choose your spot wisely and pick a stand that’s high enough so you can sit underneath the counter for maximum privacy.
12. Lake
Why? Nothing’s more discreet (yet exciting!) than making love—and a splash—in the calm waters of a lake.
Tip: Bring along a floating device to make the task easier, and to give you something to grab hold of.
13. Market
Why? Eating is a prelude to sex. To double the pleasure, why not feast on some aphrodisiac foods—asparagus, avocado, fruit—before you get started?
Tip: Choose the location with precaution because of the large number of people at the market. The back of a stand or truck will offer you some calm and privacy.
14. Nursery
Why? Because doing it amidst beautiful, fragrant flowers is an amazing sensory experience.
Tip: Find a spot in a remote area of the nursery that is well-hidden from other customers.
15. Outdoor Opera
Why? You’ll enjoy the music even more while lovemaking, and will probably hit some high notes of your own…
Tip: Find a hidden area in the back of the crowd where no one will pay attention to you—and the music you’re making. Bring a blanket along so you’re not lying directly on the grass.
16. ParkingLot
Why? You’ll get the thrill of doing it in a wide, open space, but still benefit from the privacy provided by the cars.
Tip: Wait until night falls, so that you’re not as easily noticeable. Position yourself standing up between two cars—it’s as simple as that!
17. Quay (dock)
Why? We can’t think of anything more romantic than making love by the water as the sun sets.
Tip: Don’t get too close to the edge of the deck or it’ll be too easy to spot you; better stay closer to the shore. Just be careful not to roll around too much and end up in the water!
18. Raft
Why? You and your partner will love the intensity of doing it on the river!
Tip: Avoid rapids and stick to still waters. Sit on top of your partner, both of you looking towards the front of the raft, so you can keep an eye on where you’re going…
19. Steps
Why? They’re accessible! There are certainly outdoor steps somewhere not too far away—perhaps you even have them at home.
Tip: Be careful not to fall down! Rather, choose a step that is near the bottom; a little cushion for you or your partner to sit on may be a good idea as well.
20. Tent
Why? Your man needs to hold you tight so you don’t get scared of the strange noises you hear outside. Cuddle up to him and make some noise of your own; you’ll scare off any ferocious beasts outside.
Tip: Don’t forget that just because no one can see you doesn’t mean that no one can hear you…
21. University
Why? Because your school hoodie looks so much better when it’s the only thing you’re wearing. Plus, university campuses are just swarming with great spots to do it.
Tip: Watch out for patrolling security guards—although getting caught would make you feel even younger and in love (something to tell the grandkids!).
Why? Making love surrounded by nature is simply invigorating, and open areas will give you a feeling of freedom—you’ll climax in no time.
Tip: Lie down on the ground so you’ll be hard to spot (the vines are about one metre high) and to avoid crushing any grapes and staining your clothes.
23. Wedding
Why? There’s no better occasion for making love than at a celebration of, well, love.
Tip: Be careful not to steal the spotlight from the happy couple. Finding out about your lovey-dovey adventures could make them jealous. Wait for the reception before sneaking out discreetly—no one will even notice you’re gone.
24. Yard
Why? For a thrilling experience, you need look no further than your own backyard! Plus, there’s an added privacy factor that shyer girls will appreciate.
Tip: Skip mowing the lawn for once and roll around together in those long blades of grass—so much more romantic than doing it on a short, freshly-cut lawn!
Why? Watching a couple of monkeys go at it is bound to give you some ideas; it’s the ideal situation to release your inner wild animal…grrr!
And last but not least (no, we didn’t skip a letter!), “X” is for “x marks the spot”. Use it to mark your favourites from the locations on the list—and make sure to try them all again!
